Illustrated Faith - Unpacking Your "Kit"
So, let’s unpack it and answer some of your questions! What are these? When are they available? Can I really do this if I’m not an “artist”? What’s inside? What’s the price? How do I get started?
First, what exactly is the “monthly kit” from Illustrated Faith? Open your envelope, and you’ll find a clear, string-tie envelope filled with fun, inspirational Illustrated Faith Bible journaling goodies. A new kit will be available each month exclusively on DaySpring.com, each containing devotional content with new varieties of supplies - all focused around a common theme. Collect each one! Hurry, though, because quantities are limited each month, and when they’re gone, they’re gone!
When are they available? Watch for a new kit to launch around the 20th of each month! Our August kit, called “Persevere” is available now. Be on the lookout for our August kit to be available mid-July. (Stay tuned to @DaySpringCards and @IllustratedFaith Instagram sneak peeks of the August kit as well.)
I am not an artist! Can I do this? Absolutely, yes! Yes you can. You do not have to be an “artist” (whatever that means anyway). In fact, say it with us: “Yes I can do this!” Don’t let fear of failure or perfectionism limit you! It’s not about doing a perfectly designed page; it’s about connecting with the Word in a fresh, new way, spending time with God and worshipping Him creatively and authentically.
What’s inside? What’s the price? As you untie the envelope, you’ll find 4 devotional cards, 4 journaling cards, a clear stamp collection, a roll of washi tape, one package of 25 paper pieces, two sheets of gold-accented, translucent stickers, 3 heart-shaped tip-ins and a thank you card from Shanna. Each item coordinates beautifully around this month’s kit and devotional theme and helps you take your thoughts and ideas from the devotional to the margins of your Bible. And at just $20, you’ll also get a great value on this collection!
What do I do with all this? How do I get started? Are you new to Illustrated Faith and Bible journaling? That’s OK! Just relax and have fun with it, and we’ll be happy to help. You’ll need a journaling Bible or your favorite journal. Next, think about trying it with some friends! (For help with that, see our article “How to Host an Illustrated Faith Girls’ Night”.)
