Under His direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly, and each part in its own special way helps the other parts, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. EPHESIANS 4:15-16 TLB 

We are intricately unique creations. Each of us has a special, irreplaceable part to play in filling the world with love. In His wisdom, God designed our lives to fit together perfectly, taking into consideration our individual qualities, strengths, and even our weaknesses. Knowing God sees our lives from beginning to end leaves no room or time to question His choices. Under His direction, we are perfectly in place. Even when there are people who test our patience, jobs that stretch our faith, wilderness walks that weary our trust, or moments when we’re pushed to the limit of our human emotions. . .we’re right where God wants us to be. The quicker we surrender and humble ourselves before Him, the sooner our eyes are opened to the real joy in anywhere He chooses for us— He’s growing us for greater things. 

The greatest thing of all is a life full of love. When our life is committed to helping others and using our gifts for His glory, we’re not only in the perfect place, we’re following His perfect will. 

Direct my steps today, Lord. Let each one be taken with joy and humility.
