You Have a Defender

You have a Defender
who knows your name,
who fights on your behalf,
who protects your heart.
He surrounds you with love,
fortifies you with favor,
keeps you in His care.
The battles rage,
and yes, in this fallen world,
sometimes we are wounded.
But with Him on our side
we can be sure
we will never be defeated.
Today’s Reading: Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
