You Already Have the Victory

It can become easy to forget from time to time that you already have the victory because God has already won the battle. You fall into this trap thinking you’re hopeless and powerless because things may not have gone the way you wanted them to, but God has something else to say in regards to you walking victoriously. Over and over through the Scriptures, you are reminded that God is with you, God is fighting for you, and He’ll never leave you. So why do you buy in to the lies that you’re in this alone? When you start to feel as if you are anything less than victorious, may you be reminded that God’s power is at work within you. And rest in knowing that the most powerful love ever known to mankind is on your side. He is walking this life with you. That’s right, the Creator of the stars, the solar system, the mountains, and every living being is working on your behalf right now, at this very moment. So breathe and rest and know that He has big plans for your future. They may not be the plans you had in mind, but hold on for the ride—because they are more than you could possibly imagine. 

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us. EPHESIANS 3:20 NIV 

God, sometimes my heart feels overwhelmed with all the concerns that I have. But I know Your Word says to lean not to my own understanding, but in all my ways acknowledge You and You shall direct my path. Today I’m asking that You direct each one of my footsteps and make me aware of Your presence. May You protect my thoughts as I claim the victory over my life.
