With Us Always

God is with us always,  

but in the times we are deeply hurting,  

we often need to feel his presence  

even more strongly.  

And he promises his presence.  

He draws us close to him.  

He gives our hearts a big, heavenly hug.  

He fills our minds with the peace that only he can give.  

He blesses our lives with a joy that comes from deep down inside.  

He gives us strength for this day  

and hope for tomorrow.  

And, most of all, he reminds us  

that we are never, ever alone.  

Today’s Reading: Hebrews 10: 19-22 ESV 

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
