The Sound of Your Voice

A close relationship between two people thrives on communication. Without sharing day-to-day happenings, thoughts, and observations, they understand less about each other. Eventually, they get out of the habit of talking together, and the relationship deteriorates. The same can be said about your relationship with God. Communication is crucial, and that's why He invites you to communicate with Him daily.

God longs for an ongoing, strong, and growing connection with you, and that's possible only if you speak to Him and learn from Him daily. When you're in the habit of expressing your feelings and desires to Him, you're acknowledging that He cares about you and He's the giver of all good things. Day by day, your heart and soul open to His presence. You're able to listen to His words with heightened attention and understanding. You're eager to apply His guidelines to your life, because you come to appreciate more and more the value of His timeless wisdom and unchangeable truths.

Keep the relationship between you and God thriving. Talk to Him every day and throughout the day. He loves to hear the sound of your voice.
