Purposeful Creation

God blessed them and said, “Have many children and grow in number. Fill the earth and be its master. Rule over the fish in the sea and over the birds in the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” GENESIS 1:28 NCV
Consider this amazing truth: you were created with a purpose! That purpose does not come from yourself or what you determine you want to do with your life. No, your purpose is not self-defined. It was given to you by your Creator, who formed you with a plan in mind.
In a world that constantly bombards us with messages of self-discovery and self-fulfillment, it can be easy to forget that our true purpose lies in our relationship with God. It is through this relationship that we find our true identity and our real purpose in life.
God created us to be productive, to work alongside Him in the ongoing work of creation. This does not mean that we are called to be workaholics or to find our worth in our accomplishments, but rather that we are called to be faithful stewards of the gifts and talents that God has given us.
When we embrace this truth and seek God’s will for our lives, we can experience a sense of fulfillment and purpose that goes be-yond anything that the world can offer. We can trust that God has good plans for our lives, and that He will equip us to fulfill them.
So today, let us take a moment to thank God for our lives and our purpose. Let us seek His guidance and direction for our lives and ask Him to reveal His plans for us. And let us commit to living out His purpose for our lives, to be productive and faithful stewards of all that He has given us.
Greet this day in God’s strength, confident in His purpose for your life, and may everything you do today bring glory and honor to Him!
PRAYER
God, I praise You for Your power and love, which is demonstrated throughout Your creation. All Your work You do in faithfulness. I worship You for creating me with a plan and for a purpose. I exalt You, Lord, for the wonderful things to come! I praise You for the good work You have conceived and prepared for my life. Amen.
