Praise At All Times

Rejoicing, praying, and expressing gratitude sound easy to do when life is going smoothly, but what about times when you’re struggling just to make it through each day? Jesus knew you’d have difficult times, and His antidote for a stifled spirit is praise – not for the struggle, but to affirm His promise of eternal life with Him. He loves you. He died for you. And those are all the right reasons to rejoice in Him and be glad no matter what.

He alone is your God, the only one who is worthy of your praise, the one who has done these mighty miracles that you have seen with your own eyes. (Deuteronomy 10:21 NLT)

Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (I Thessalonians 5:18 HCSB)

Three times a day, [Daniel] got down on his knees, prayed, and gave thanks to his God, just as he had done before. (Daniel 6:10 HCSB)

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (I Thessalonians 5:16-18 ESV)

Jesus, I rejoice in You right now and thank You from my heart for the sacrifice You made on the cross for me. I am truly grateful.
