Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies. PSALM 36:5 NIV

For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son. God gave His Son so that whoever believes in Him may not be lost, but have eternal life. (John 3:16 ICB)

Consider the kind of extravagant love the Father has lavished on us—He calls us children of God! It’s true; we are His beloved children. (I John 3:1 VOICE)

The Eternal is compassionate and merciful. When we cross all the lines, He is patient with us. When we struggle against Him, He lovingly stays with us—changing, convicting, prodding. (Psalm 103:8 VOICE)

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. (Romans 8:28 NLT)

Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38–39 NLT)

And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. (Ephesians 3:18–19 NLT)

A NOTE FROM CANDACE

The Bible says that before you were born, God knew you! He had a plan and purpose for you. There’s a reason He created you. Not only did He create you, He loves you!

He wants to show and share His love for YOU.

He wants to show you His world—to share His world with you. Heaven and earth. He wants you to live forever with Him. Isn’t that amazing?

With Him and in Him and through Him, you can do anything! Because He is for you.

No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve been through, no matter how many times you’ve messed up or how many mistakes you’ve made—He believes in you. He is proud of you; He is for you. Because He loves you.

I know I keep saying it, but you need to hear it—really hear it, ringing in your ears, reaching down into the deepest part of you, until you know that you know it’s true: He loves me—no matter what. He loves you because He created you in His image.

He loves you more than anyone has or ever could. He loves you fully and completely. Fiercely and unconditionally. Are you getting it?

He loves you to pieces! Loves you to death—Jesus’ death on the cross. That’s when He made everything right between the two of you. Wiped out the distance caused by sin, removed all the guilt and shame. Gave you a fresh start. A new heart. A new name. His name. (See Revelation 2:17, 3:12.)

I’m here to tell you: You can live every single day of your life purposefully, meaningfully, adventurously, victoriously, unstoppably—because He loves you.

How do you experience God’s love? How or when or where does He remind you of His love? Can you think of any specific examples or experiences? If it helps, start with “I know God loves me because . . .”
