One Minute With God: His Presence

Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. (Hebrews 10:22)

The stars in the sky can be millions of light-years away. Yet their shining is so bright that it can be seen by the human eye. Other debris and asteroids float around in space, but we cannot see them. It takes the brightest light to shine the farthest. What debris or dark matter interferes with the light you carry? Ask the Lord to remove it. And at the same time, be encouraged that the light of Jesus can shine through the dark, even where imperfections exist. You are the perfect vessel for his work, and you can be confident that you make a bright difference in the world around you. So go on out there and shine!

Lord, thank you for allowing me to rest in your presence. Please erase anything in my life that interferes with our relationship. And fill me with your light so that I may shine for you in all that I do. In Jesus’ name, amen.
