His Everlasting Arms

He holds the ones who are sick.  

He holds the ones who are hurting.  

And he will tenderly hold you,  

lovingly comfort you,  

and faithfully walk with you  

every step of your life.  

His arms will protect you  

with his peace that passes understanding;  

his arms will surround you  

with his mercy that’s new every morning;  

his arms will embrace you  

with his love that knows no end.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; 
    my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. 
He is my shield, the power that saves me, 
    and my place of safety.
