He Made the Stars

Jesus Christ—  

He made each star and galaxy.  

His life fulfilled each prophecy.  

His power made the blind to see.  

His sacrifice set people free.  

His resurrection proved to be  

the turning point of history.  

In a moment,   

everything changed.  

Jesus, your love for me is beyond understanding—  

but I will spend a lifetime trying.   

Open my eyes to the terrible beauty   

of your sacrifice and how it affects your view of me.   

Help me to walk in forgiveness—receiving yours of me,   

and extending it to those around me.

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
