God Has a Path

God has a path  

for your feet to follow,   

a plan for your heart  

to discover,   

and a purpose  

for your life to fulfill.   

As you walk with him  

you will see the beauty  

and wisdom of his ways.  

Father, guide my steps in your purpose for me.   

Give me the wisdom you promise,   

so that every step I take fulfills your hopes for me   

and the work of your kingdom in this time and place.

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet 
    and a light for my path. 
I’ve promised it once, and I’ll promise it again: 
    I will obey your righteous regulations.
