Gifts That Keep Giving

You are incredibly gifted! God has blessed you with all kinds of natural talents, abilities, and skills, plus a wealth of wisdom, knowledge, and life experience. The Bible says He’s also blessed you with “spiritual gifts,” supernatural gifts that empower you to live out your high and holy calling, gifts that enable you to be a blessing to others. Gifts that are desperately needed in the Body of Christ—God’s family of believers—so that we can be strong and healthy and function properly. If it’s been a while, take some time to make a list of your gifts, thank God for them, and think of ways you can give them (or “regift” them) to others.
Some of us have been given special ability as apostles; to others He has given the gift of being able to preach well; some have special ability in winning people to Christ, helping them to trust Him as their Savior; still others have a gift for caring for God’s people as a shepherd does his sheep, leading and teaching them in the ways of God. Ephesians 4:11 TLB
There are different kinds of gifts; but they are all from the same Spirit. There are different ways to serve; but all these ways are from the same Lord. And there are different ways that God works in people; but all these ways are from the same God. God works in us all in everything we do. I Corinthians 12:4–6 ICB
Each of you has been blessed with one of God’s many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gift well. I Peter 4:10 CEV
Jesus, thank You for each of the precious gifts You have given me. Help me to use them well, for the benefit of others and for Your kingdom and Your glory.
