Bad Days

One thing I’ve learned through life has been that a bad day doesn’t mean I have a bad life. My bad day doesn’t mean tomorrow will be just the same. Bad days give experiences just like good days bring happiness. I know that no matter how my day goes, my character will not be compromised, no matter how people treat me or how I treat myself. When I’m down, I will continue to give myself pep talks, fill my thoughts with God’s goodness, and remind myself I am a child of God regardless. On my good days, I will continue to do the same. I will praise God and show gratitude for God giving me another day of life. Good or bad, I am still breathing. What lesson is God teaching you in this season?

I love the Lord, for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy. PSALM 116:1 NIV

God, thank You so much for everything. I appreciate You so much. I appreciate our times together, and I ask that You would give me a clean heart. Whether I’m having a good day or a bad day, I ask that Your love would flow through me freely so that I would have the grace to heal the hearts of others while You so lovingly heal my heart.
