Daily devotion

When Noah was 600 years old, on the seventeenth day of the second month, all the underground waters erupted from the earth, and the rain fell in mighty torrents from the sky. The rain continued to fall for forty days and forty nights.
Genesis 7:11-12
When Noah and his family heard the lock click shut on the ark’s big door, they had no idea what the next days or weeks would be like. They only knew for sure that God had called them to this journey and that he must have big plans ahead since he had asked them to bring so much life and livestock on board. No one except God knows what went through their minds when the waters began coming from every direction. It must have been hard not to fear what was next. But later they realized that God had kept his eye on them the entire time. Just like in your seasons of life and motherhood,
God never loses sight. No matter what you see, God sees the bigger picture and how it will all play out. Amid life’s uncertainties, hold on to the truth that God’s plans for you and your family are rooted in his immense love and his desire to lead you toward a future filled with hope.
