» Give your youth pastor the Just Think Plaque. Include a note of thanks and tell him or her how grateful you are for the way they are impacting the next generation.
» Invite them to dinner. Do some behind-the-scenes investigating to find out what their favorite meal is - and then, invite them over for dinner to surprise them with it.
» Let your kids choose. Your kids probably know the youth pastor better than you do. Ask them to browse our ministry appreciation section, and have them write a thank you note.
» Volunteer. Tell your youth pastor how much you appreciate them and ask if there's anything you can do to serve the youth group.
» Decorate their car (with your kids!). Buy some window chalk specifically made for cars at any store that has an automotive department. Plan a time to decorate your youth pastor’s car without being discovered. Write 'World's Best Youth Pastor' on the back window and tuck a thank-you note with a gift certificate to a local car wash under the windshield wipers.
» Pizza, pizza, and more pizza! Youth pastors eat A LOT of the stuff. Give your youth pastor a gift certificate to a nice restaurant...one that doesn't serve pizza! If your youth pastor is married and has children, offer to babysit.
» Remind them of the importance of their job. Youth pastors play a vital role in the church by ministering to students and their parents. Why not choose a gift that will help remind them of how truly important their position is? Our staff recommends our Faithful Servant mug, desktop box and framed wall art - all of which feature the verse Ephesians 2:10 - For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
» Write a heartfelt thank-you note. Express your gratitude by telling your youth pastor the specific ways you see God using him or her to make a difference in your child/children's lives. Tell him or her you are praying for them. Knowing someone has taken the time and effort to remember us in prayer can mean so much. Pray for his or her heart, marriage, family, friendships and ministry.
» Encourage them. Ministering to the youth is going to be bumpy at times. Let them know they are doing a good job and encourage them to keep going. You could also fill this God is My Rock Jumbo Mug with their favorite candy or gift this Be Strong Wall Art as a little extra something to let them know you appreciate their hard work.
» Honor them with words of gratefulness. Gift this meaningful framed art and premium card set to honor him or her as they faithfully serve the youth of your church - encourage them with beautiful words of blessings.
