Whether your grandkids live nearby or far away, Easter is a wonderful time to connect with them. It’s not only a time for fun and springtime surprises, but also a special opportunity to share the true meaning of the season. It’s never too early to start helping them learn more about Jesus – His sacrifice and the new life He offers to us all.
While chocolate bunnies and pastel-colored eggs are fun ways to spruce up any Easter basket or care package, why not add a little faith-filled inspiration this year? Here are a few of our favorite inspirational gifts and activities for kids:
A family favorite through the years, these offer an engaging way for children to participate in sharing the Easter story through colorful symbols and storytelling. Like the nativity scene at Christmas, they’ve become a yearly tradition for many families, helping to kick off the Easter season in a meaningful, memorable way.
Faith–Filled Sticker Fun:
A simple activity that’s fun to share with family and friends, these color-your-own stickers are the perfect little addition to a basket – also great for mailing across the miles!
The Jesus Storybook Bible:
Beautifully written and illustrated, The Jesus Storybook Bible invites children to discover for themselves that Jesus is at the center of God's great story of salvation—and at the center of their story too. Send one home with the grandkids, or keep in your home as a treasure to share each time they visit.
Really Woolly Plush Friends:
Meet Flora, Cora and Nora, three cuddly sheep who love a springtime shower. They encourage little hearts even when the rain comes down...and the Shepherd is making blessings bloom just for you. Everyone loves a huggable plush, but these carry a meaningful message, too!
The Three Trees:
A classic, much-loved folktale about three trees whose wishes unexpectedly come true. It’s a story that reflects God's love and sacrifice for us, and helps children understand that God has a special plan and purpose for their lives, too!
Baby’s First Bible and Cuddly Duck:
Welcome your newest grandbaby with this colorful “Baby’s First Bible” and soft, cuddly plush. Even the littlest hearts can experience the love of their Creator. Bless them this Easter with the gift of truth; it’s never too early to begin hearing God’s Word.
Most importantly, as you prepare for Easter celebrations, take some time to praise God for His sacrifice - for His deep love for us, and for the precious gift of grandchildren. Share a joy-filled Easter Ecard with your friends and loved ones, and invite them to do the same!
