Every season you go through teaches you something about yourself. It can reveal your true character, show you the lack of trust you may have in God, or even show you the importance of trusting in His timing when you may not understand. Every season is different. Each one serves a purpose regardless of how you feel about your current circumstances. You could be on a spiritual high or a low, feel close to God or the farthest you’ve ever been. These seasons come to teach you the things that need to be removed or allowed to take root. It shows the beauty of growth even when you feel like you are being buried alive. You see fruit where you felt everything was barren. You see life through a different perspective when you allow seasons of rain, sun, drought, desert, and storms to shape you, not destroy you.

You are my friends if you do what I command. JOHN 15:14 NIV

Lord, I ask You to guide me in this season. I know that You are working all things out for my good and Your glory, but from where I stand, it’s hard to see it that way. But I trust in You, Lord. Hold on to me during all the seasons of my life.
