Walking With Joy

Have you ever thought that, while Jesus walked the earth, He walked with His Father’s joy? Yes, while casting out demons, healing the sick, walking, and preaching to the point of exhaustion, Jesus was joy-filled. And before He left the earth, He said that when you remain in Him and live out His purpose for your life, you can have His joy too. In fact, His joy is made complete in you. This means that no matter what work or challenges you face, you can accomplish and overcome each with His joy to the fullest.

The hope of the righteous is joy. (Proverbs 10:28)

For to the man who is pleasing in His sight, He gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy. (Ecclesiastes 2:26)

You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in Your presence; You always give me sheer delight. (Psalm 16:11 NET)

If you obey My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete. (John 15:10-11 NET)

Father, thank You for Your gifts of wonder and delight. Fill my heart and mind, hold me and protect me as I walk in the fullness of Your joy throughout this day. Amen.
