This Love

How God longs for you! How He loves you! You are so beautiful, so special, so precious to Him. He wants to spend time with you—to talk and to listen. He is constantly calling you into relationship with Him, inviting you into intimacy with Him. He knows about all the things that compete for your love and devotion, your time and attention. He understands the distractions and interruptions. But love won’t let Him walk away and leave you with lesser things. 

He keeps coming to you, keeps calling to you, keeps finding ways to attract your attention. He knows that nothing will be as meaningful, as significant, as fulfilling as the time you share or the connection you create. Nothing will comfort or strengthen or energize you more. Nothing will bring you greater joy. It’s for this love that He created you. 

My heart has heard You say, “Come and talk with Me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.” Psalm 27:8 NLT 

My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the Living God. Psalm 84:2 NIV 

Being with You will fill me with joy. Psalm 16:11 ICB

Lord, You are the love of my life. Thank You for each moment together, each day, each year. Let me grow deeper and deeper in love with You.
