The Comfort of Protection: Favor

Behold, children are a heritage and gift from the LORD,
the fruit of the womb a reward.

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
so are the children of one's youth.
How blessed [happy and fortunate] is the man
whose quiver is filled with them;
they will not be ashamed when they speak
with their enemies [in gatherings] at the [city] gate.
Psalm 127:3-5 AMP

Reflect on this statement, inspired by today’s Scripture, and let it guide you into prayer:

I cannot begin to express how greatly blessed and grateful I am for the gift of my family. With all my heart, I receive each life that has come into our family as Your beautiful gift. I cannot find the words to thank You enough.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, my prayer today is one of thanksgiving, gratitude, and praise. Thank You for Your favor and marvelous generosity to me and my family. Every one of Your good and perfect gifts to us comes directly from Your hand by way of Your giving heart of kindness and love.

I cannot begin to express how greatly blessed and grateful I am for the gift of my children. With all my heart, I receive each life that has come into our family as Your beautiful gift. I cannot find the words to thank You enough.

My children are a testimony of Your grace, a proclamation of Your wisdom, a revelation of Your workmanship, and a demonstration of the creative work of Your hands. I thank You for giving them to us as Your heritage—to know, enjoy, love, care for, celebrate, delight in, and raise so that they may know You and receive Your Son as their greatest gift of all.

My children are a testimony of Your grace, Lord
