The Call of Adventure

God created you with a specific plan and purpose in mind. A mission. A calling. There are things He specifically designed for you—and specifically designed for you to do, things that will bring you deep joy, profound meaning, and fulfillment. If you say yes. If you are willing. Will you believe? Will you trust? Will you receive and respond to His invitation? 

It’s the adventure of a lifetime. There will be battles to fight (and win), challenges and obstacles to overcome. But you won’t have to go it alone. Not one single step. He will be with you all the way. He will work in you and through you. He will guide you and comfort you. He will provide everything you need. God Himself will enable you and empower you to accomplish this mission for His kingdom and glory. 

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8 NIV 

Just think—you don’t need a thing, you’ve got it all! All God’s gifts are right in front of you as you wait expectantly for our Master Jesus to arrive on the scene for the Finale. And not only that, but God Himself is right alongside to keep you steady and on track until things are all wrapped up by Jesus. God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of His Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that. I Corinthians 1:7–9 THE MESSAGE 

You will do everything You have promised; Lord, Your love is eternal. Complete the work that You have begun. Psalm 138:8 GNT 

Jesus, help me to embrace the adventure, to step out in faith and answer Your call. Fulfill all Your plans and purposes for me. I believe.
