Persevere in Your Faith

Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I Timothy 6:12 NIV

Perseverance in faith is not an easy task. As we journey through life, we encounter situations that can test our faith, such as the tragic death of loved ones, betrayal from those closest to us, and circumstances we never dreamed we would have to live through. But the race does not stop, and neither can we. We must persevere in our faith and remain faithful to the calling God has entrusted to us.

We are burdened by a glorious purpose in the Kingdom of God, and we must have faith that we are doing a great work that cannot be stopped. It is understandable that this task may seem Herculean and impossible, but we are not alone. Jesus went to the cross, and it was not easy or pleasant for Him, but He understands the pain of perseverance and the exhaustion of endurance. He is waiting for us with open arms, cheering us on, and lending us His strength so that we may overcome – as He did.

Persevering in faith is like running a race, and we must run as hard as we can to win. Our hope is to receive the life that continues forever – because we were called to have that life! We must not hold back but continue to ask for God’s strength and help to persevere. We can overcome because Jesus overcame, but we must reach out to God in faith so that we may see the very best of His goodness manifested in our lives.

God never promised that persevering in faith would be easy, but He has promised to help us every step of the way. He sent His Holy Spirit to enable us to overcome all fear, push past doubts, and maintain our trust in Him no matter what. We must ask the Holy Spirit to increase our faith, make us more like Jesus, help us to endure the trials of this world, and empower us to overcome as Jesus did. The plans of our heavenly Father are good, and He is in control!

Continue to persevere in faith and remain faithful to the calling God has entrusted to you. While you need to foster your faith in God and His plans for your life, you should also ask Him to increase your faith and empower you to overcome the challenges you face. You can overcome because Jesus overcame, so thank Him for His example of perseverance in faith and His grace, poured out to you. Reach out to God in faith and see the very best of His goodness manifested in your life.

PRAYER

Jesus, I praise You, for You have not left me alone, but instead, You sent the Holy Spirit to empower me. You have called me and enabled me to run my race, and You have given me eternal life to look forward to – a life forever with You! You sacrificed Yourself to restore my relationship with God the Father. Thank You so much for Your salvation. You alone are worthy of all the praise and glory! Amen.
