My Problem, His Answer

If you enjoy solving crossword puzzles, you've probably experienced something like this: You've read the clue, you have three letters of the answer filled in, but you just can't come up with a word that fits. So you put down the puzzle and don't give it another thought. Then, hours later, you glance back at the puzzle and voila! The answer is obvious, and you wonder why you hadn't thought of it earlier.

Personal problems, even serious ones, can be like that, too. We know full well what the issue is, but we don't have an immediate solution. Rather than temporarily letting it go, however, we keep on it. It's all we can think about during the day, and it keeps us tossing and turning at night. Still, we're no closer to an answer. Now that anxiety has amplified the issue, we might even conclude that there is no answer.

God asks you to take your problems to Him and leave them there for a practical purpose. Not only are you showing your trust in His wisdom, you're freeing your mind. And that's when you're most likely to discover the answer in plain sight!

Put God in charge of your work, then what you've planned will take place.
