Look and Leap

You were made to be beautiful and strong, confident and courageous, graceful and swift and agile—like a deer dancing across the mountain heights. God Himself has created you to be everything you need to be to live the life He’s called you to and to fulfill His plans and purposes for you.

Don’t worry obsessively over the challenges and obstacles ahead of you. Don’t live in regret over past stumbles or tremble in fear while looking down at the next steps. Don’t look down at all. Look up! Lift your eyes and look to Him. Trust Him. Draw your strength from His strength—and leap!

I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. Psalm 94:18 NLT

He made me sure-footed as a deer and placed me high up where I am safe. Psalm 18:33 VOICE

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns! Isaiah 52:7 NLT

The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet and makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility]. Habakkuk 3:19 AMP

Lord God, thank You for the strength and grace You have given me and the courage and confidence to fulfill my calling. Lead me to new heights today!
