He Longs For Us

Everything we go through   

is important to the Lord.   

He longs to take care of us—  

to wrap his arms around us  

and hold us close,  

to give us strength for today  

and hope for tomorrow.  

He wants the very best for us...  

and that’s just what he will provide.  

Lord, prepare my heart to receive  

all that you have to give. Teach me now,  

so that I might be there for others later.  

Today’s Reading: Isaiah 30:18.  

Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; 
    therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. 
For the Lord is a God of justice. 
    Blessed are all who wait for him!
