Grace for a Lifetime

Thank goodness for grace periods. If you’re a few days late paying a bill, there’s a five-day grace period, so there won’t be a penalty. If you purchase an item, take it home, then decide you don’t want it, there’s a thirty day grace period to return it and get your money back. But the best grace period of all is the one we have under the covering of God’s love and through His Son, Jesus. It lasts a lifetime. God’s grace period is stamped: ETERNITY.

Indeed, we have all received grace after grace from His fullness, for the law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (John 1:16-17 ESV)

And now I entrust you to God and the message of His grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those He has set apart for Himself. (Acts 20:32 NLT)

Since by the one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive the overflow of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:17 CSB)

We have redemption in Him through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. (Ephesians 1:7-8 CSB)

Thank You, Father, for covering me, my life, my sin, my everything with Your grace, so that I may spend eternity with you. Amen.
