God Meant it For Good

The Bible tells us that Joseph’s own brothers ambushed him, beat him, and sold him into slavery in Egypt. But he could let go of the hurt and bitterness he felt over his brothers’ betrayal because he saw God’s hand in everything that happened to him. Suddenly a series of miraculous events put him in a position second only to Pharaoh. He was given both the wisdom and the power to save millions of people from famine and death, including his own family. And he knew it had been a part of God’s plan all along. One day, like Joseph, we too will see that though others have intended to harm us and Satan has tried to destroy us, God has been working everything together for our good.

Be gentle and ready to forgive; never hold grudges. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Colossians 3:13 TLB

You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good. Genesis 50:20 ESV

We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan. Romans 8:28 VOICE

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah 55:8 NLT

Jesus, help me to forgive others as You have forgiven me, trusting that You can turn every grief and pain, every loss, every wound, into something good and beautiful for Your glory.
