Go In Peace

There are a lot of stories in the Bible about how Jesus performed a miracle and healed people because of their faith. It’s always inspiring to me to read the stories behind these miracles. One that comes to mind is the woman in Luke 8. This woman was bleeding for twelve years without any way of being healed. Think about how long she waited for an answer, how long she waited to feel better. She was out of options, but she believed that if she could just touch the corner of Jesus’s cloak, she’d be healed. She believed it with all her heart and so she did it. And you know what happened? When she finally touched Jesus’s cloak, He turned to her and said “Your faith has made you well. Go in peace” (Luke 8:48 NLT). When we believe with all our hearts that Jesus will meet our needs and provide for us, we will be on the receiving end of miracles.

But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. (Jeremiah 17:7 NLT)

And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.” (Luke 8:48 ESV)

But if we must keep trusting God for something that hasn’t happened yet, it teaches us to wait patiently and confidently. (Romans 8:25 TLB)

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for meeting my needs and providing for me, even when I don’t see it yet. Thank You for strengthening my faith.
