Fashioned by Design

You are not an accident or a mistake. There is nothing about you that is generic or derivative or “mass-produced.” No, you are a true masterpiece, unique and one-of-a-kind, fashioned by design. Beautifully handcrafted by God Himself. Every detail is exquisite, purposeful, and deliberate. Your personality and temperament, background and life experiences, gifts and talents—all these things make you, you. All these things make you—and you alone—perfect for the plan God has for you. Embrace this truth! Celebrate your true beauty, a reflection of your Creator’s beauty. Use it to help others discover His beauty—and their own. 

It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, He had His eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose He is working out in everything and everyone. Ephesians 1:11–12 THE MESSAGE 

We have a special role in His plan. He calls us to life by His message of truth so that we will show the rest of His creatures His goodness and love. James 1:18 VOICE 

You are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light. I Peter 2:9 NLT 

God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was His plan from before the beginning of time—to show us His grace through Christ Jesus. II Timothy 1:9 NLT 

Glorious God, help me to reflect Your light, reveal Your truth, and radiate Your goodness and love, that others may be deeply drawn to You.
