Every Good and Perfect Thing

Not a moment of our lives  

is out of God’s control…  

His love surrounds us,  

his grace keeps us,  

and his heart desires   

what is best for us.  

Today is another chance to look around  

for the many reminders  

of how special you are to him…  

and how close he is to you.  

In light of this truth…  

Ask God to show you some of the unexpected,   

harder-to-see ways he has brought gifts into your life.   

Look for ways you can bring his gifts into the lives of others.

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.
