A New Creation

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then He said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” (REVELATION 21:5 NIV)

Too often, who we decide to be blocks us from who we were born to be. God loves us too much to leave us or lose us, so instead He splits us so that true significance can flow from within us. The method can feel messy, but the process is still part of a divine masterpiece. Sometimes God shakes up our lives and splits us open for something new to emerge. Finding significance isn’t about reaching a new goal; it’s about becoming a new creation God will go to drastic lengths to get the attention of His daughters – and that most certainly includes you. You will no doubt experience drama and trauma that won’t always make sense. But without pain, we’d never experience the refreshing gift of healing. The reason for heartbreak, betrayal, and loss may never be explained. If we desire a God-led life, we must get comfortable with mystery. Instead of seeking answers, we must seek first the kingdom of heaven – thirsting for God’s heart, not just His hands. God knows what He’s doing, and He doesn’t owe us any explanations. When we’ve veered too deeply onto the wrong path, God will split us from ourselves and from whatever no longer serves as the bigger life waiting to emerge. Rest assured that adversity is a sign of your significance and a catalyst to awaken your next-level calling.

How is adversity actually a sign of your significance and a clue as to who you really are in God’s eyes?

Pray:

Lord, awaken my next-level calling by aligning me with my true identity. You have my attention. Speak, for Your servant is listening. Amen.
