A Creative Miracle

Who you are is an absolute miracle of God’s creativity. 

From the details of what you look and sound like  

to the range of interests that bring you special joy— 

all of these are yours and yours alone. 

The characteristics that make up your personality  

and your one-of-a-kind way of seeing the world 

come from influences that are unique to you. 

Your gifts, talents, aptitudes, and quirks 

and the ways they impact your contribution  

to making this world a better place are just you. 

Don’t hold back from enthusiastically being  

the amazing you God intended you to be.  

No one else could begin to take your place.

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.  Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.
