Sons From Afar

Very engaging book, hard to put down. One of the big surprises was the fact that Jews do not read their own Bible, Old Testament. Perhaps if they did they would realize that Jesus was foretold and arrived as predicted by their own people. Anyway great book.

An amazing story of God's grace, mercy & patience with His chosen ones. It also helped me understand the tremendous resistance to the Gospel among the Jewish people because they equate Christianity with atrocities. I was moved by those Christians and Messianic Jews who kept quietly witnessing through their lives, even without words, until Roy's dad was ready to receive the truth.

It is so fascinating to read how God draws us to Himself.I was touched to see how God transformed this hurting family into one that blesses the world. Hope is instilled as I read how God protected these folks until they were safe in His fold.

Sons from afar

I had a hard time putting this book down. I was fascinated by the story about coming to this country, "a promised land of sorts". I pray that more Christians would research their own Judo-Christian heritage. It will enrich their walk with our Lord. I was drawn to the book because I have seen how the relationship between fathers and sons are seldom simple. This story shows the rocky road but also shows the handiwork of the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the promised Messiah, Jesus Christ. I too would like a sequel. Thank you Roy for writing this book. You have preserved the story of your heritage for future generations. What a gift!

Educational and Inspiring

This book is a beautiful portrayal of God's constant and unfailing love. I would love to read a sequel of Roy's continual christian journey.
