Renee Swope - A Confident Heart

Renee has helped me through this book to be able to identify and define some issues I didnt even realise I had, like doubt. I have lived with doubt for so long it became a part of me and sounded like my own still small voice. This is one book that will be on my night stand for a long long time until I become what Christ intended me to be.

I loved this book's message, especially the AM and FM thoughts which we all have. This concept resonated with my heart immediately. While I have memorized scriptures for years, Renee's way of connecting God's truth to our level of reality has helped God's truth (the FM thoguhts) become more of my default thinking than the AM thoughts. I am reading this book for the second time with equal enthusiasm and I have given 2 as gifts. A must read, in my opinioin, to help God's truth trample out those discouraging, negative thoughts that drag us down and show us His power to really live victoriously.

Sometimes in a book we get a revelation of things going on our lives that will give us a fresh word and is an eye opener, this book is just that. I read books that can help me in my spiritual walk with the Lord. And as we all know we all struggle with something and mine is confidence. The scriptures of Gideon turning from wimp to warrior really hit home for me. Thank you for this book that really helped me in so many ways.

This book is a must-read for everyone. I am 61 years old and have been a Christian since I was 13. This is the first book I've ever read that really made me see myself through the eyes of Christ and learn my worth to God. I am bolder in my witness and more confident in day-to-day living that I have ever been. My 88 year old mother is now reading it and learning how to overcome fears that have been plaguing her during this season of her life.

so far just the first 2 chapters have made me realize and see some serious things about my self. it is a very good book
