I bought this as a gift for a dear friend, with only seeing the cover. When I got it (in perfect condition, I might add) I was able to look through it and it's really lovely. It is stamped front and back with retro stamps and poster images. The inside pages have a Bible verse on each page, which cycles about every 13 pages. It is not dated, but allows you to fill in the date with circles: it lists each day of the week, 31 numbers and each month and you fill in the circle next to the corresponding day for when you are writing. The pages are seemingly high quality paper and there is a pocket in the back for mementos, or whatever. The inside front cover has a colored print similar to a version of the leatherbound outer cover. And the first page has a space for name and some other info.
Overall, it has a masculine feel, which is unusual for journals, while still maintaining a classic sophistication.
