Many times the message and Scripture have spoken to me in a timely and personal way. I might find the same in a concordance if I search but would I take the time? There is always time for this little devotional. Praise God for Sarah's gift.
A close friend talked about this book and how much she and her daughter enjoyed reading it. I bought a copy for myself and loved it. Since then, I've bought several copies as gifts. I recently bought a copy for my son, but before I gave it to him, my middle granddaughter said she needed a copy of it for her group at church. So I gave that copy to her and will buy another copy for my son ... and probably a few more copies for other family members and friends. It's a great way to start my day. I read the day's message and then look up the Scriptures referenced.
This book was given to me when I was having serious health issues. The daily readings elevated my spirit. It is now several years later and I am in good health, but the same passages take on special meaning for me each day.
I ordered several of these to give to our classmates at the passing of a parent. They are really nice and it will be something they can keep, plus a lot cheaper than flowers.
Received my copy at a time I was going through doubts of taking care of my elderly parents. Just when I was handed the copy, a weight lifted off my shoulder. I purchased a copy for my sister. We love reading how Jesus wants us to look to him and thank him daily.
