The Greatest Gift
When you open your presents at Christmas, don’t forget the most
important one, the one that won’t be found beneath the tree. It’s the
miracle gift of a brand new heart, and God Himself wants to give it to you.
The gift actually came wrapped in the first Christmas story.
When Jesus came to our world that night, He came for a purpose, to
live a perfect life, to die a sacrificial death, and to rise again in victory.
He paid for all our sin, so we could be free from its power and penalty.
Like any gift, we must receive it. Unlike any other, this gift becomes a life-changing
miracle in our hearts—bringing freedom to live with love and peace, knowing God’s acceptance.
Praying your Christmas includes a celebration of the Greatest Gift,
God’s miracle love and new life found by trusting in Jesus—
and the peace and joy He brings that will last for eternity.
What the Bible says about the gift of salvation:
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God
is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord,"
and believe in your heart that God raised Him
from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36
