So True - Vintage Bird Cage - Christian Journal

I was very pleased with this journal when I received my order, and I'm looking forward to using it for daily reflections. One thing that surprised me (in a good way) is that the cover is stiff and flat. This is a change from the Dayspring journals I purchased a few years ago, whose covers were slightly puffy or padded. I like this flatter cover better. The book is also slightly wider in dimensions than my older Dayspring journals, which is a change I like. In terms of the design, most of the pages are lined, but a few have a graph paper design on them that adds whimsey and provides a nice change of scene. There are also illustrations on the bottom of a few of the pages. I like when journal pages have a slightly different design throughout the book. There is a Bible verse on each lower right-hand page. The verses rotate and provide varying messages throughout the book. There is a small box for the date at the top of each left-hand page. Overall this book feels nice and solid, well-made, and as if it will make for a good lasting keepsake.

I'm giving these lovely journals to all the girls in my classic book club and hope that the messages on each page continue to minister to their hearts as they record their thoughts throughout the year and look back on them in years to come!
