The one who plants and the one who waters work as a team with the same purpose. Yet they will be rewarded individually, according to their own hard work. 1 Corinthians 3:8, NLT
Henry Ford revolutionized the automobile industry when he incorporated the assembly line at his Michigan plant in January 1914. Ford's goal was to produce simple, sturdy, affordable cars. At the price of $825, the Model T was too expensive for many customers, so Ford and his executives searched for new ways to lower production costs.
One change was implementing the assembly-line method, in which conveyor belts would bring parts to the workers and each individual worker would perform a specific task.
God has given each of us different gifts and specialized roles, and they are all important in fulfilling his larger purposes. Each worker is essential in the assembly of God's church.

How can you claim that you have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others?
James 2:1
Martin Luther King Jr. was the most influential leader of the civil rights movement during the fifties and sixties. He eloquently articulated grievances with discrimination in the United States. King was assassinated on April 4, 1968. In 1983, Congress made the third Monday in January a federal holiday to honor him.
Prejudice appears to be a universal weakness in human nature, with every race and every group of people. Several Scriptures remind us that God does not show favoritism (Acts 10:34). In Galatians 3:28 we are given a beautiful picture: "There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus." One in Christ - that's a dream we should all have.
