Redeemed Christmas - Christmas Wooden Blocks, Set of 6

Christ, Silent, Merry - we'll see what else the kids will come up with! They are definitely enjoying these blocks.

So far we have spelled: Joy, Joyful, Jesus, Glory, Love, Manger, Holy, Tree, Star, Gift (spelled with a ! instead of I),God, Pine, Gold, Myrrh Psalm, Song, Noel, Heart. They are only 6 blocks, so you can't do too much, and sometimes it's frustrating when you can't spell good words because two letters are on the same block (like LIGHT or ANGEL). But all in all we like them a lot. They are big, about 2-2.5 inches each side, so frustration with words aside, I'm glad we didn't buy the set of 12: they would take up a lot of room!

These blocks are bigger than I expected. It's not that hard to spell words with them. They can spell quite a few things. And I did see a list somewhere that showed all the words you can spell. I didn't realize the letters were stickers. I thought maybe they were painted on. I just hope the stickers don't peel off over time. So far so good, but I'm nervous about letting my little ones play with them since the letters are just stickers. All and all I'm happy with my purchase though.

I LOVE THESE!! It's a beautiful accessory to our mantel. I spelled JESUS with the extra block depicting a manger scene. We got ours for $10 and $7 s&h so for that price I highly recommend! nlb

The blocks themselves are really sturdy, I can let my 2 year old and almost 1 year old play with them without fear of them being damaged, so I really like that. I like having decorations and things around the house they can touch and be involved with. That being said, it takes a lot of planning to spell out words. I can do Jesus, Joy, and Joyful (that's all I've tried so far). I do wish however that they came with a list of words that they definitely can spell, and also more of the common letters in Christmas words and less letters that just seem like they don't belong. Perhaps better planning when being manufactured could correct this. All in all, I don't regret the purchase at all, and I'd buy them again, and definitely as a gift. I am mainly interested in being able to spell Jesus, such a powerful name gracing my mantle!
