Love the idea - good quality, nice words

I am a single mom and a busy worker. My days are filled with morning routines of getting my son ready and then dashing off to work. My nights are cooking, homework, soccer, bedtime stories and the whole 9 yards. I saw these cards at lifeway and thought they were cute. I started putting them in my son's lunch box. I often feel our mornings are too rushed for my son and I to talk and for me to remind him how precious he is. So I pick which one applies for the day: was it a rough morning, was it test day, is he going through troubles with friends, does he need encouragement? And I put that one in his lunch. Okay, for anyone with a son you will know what I mean when I say: TO MY SURPRISE, my son loved them!! He was so excited to see a special card for him in his lunch. He decided to collect them. I told him he could throw them away and he said NO!! He said, “I want to keep them to remind me of what you tell me and sometimes I can give them my friends if they are sad or need help. BTW, my son is 8. Oh my heart was so filled with joy!! My only regret was not buying more. Our lifeway stores in the whole perplex are TOTALLY sold out and my friends want the cards now. I absolutely cannot believe what an impact these cards have made!! It is not just a reminder to my son of my love, but a reminder of God’s love and that he is never alone.

I love these cards! I use them to send in my granddaughter's lunch box. It's a good way to reinforce God's love to them in a personal way.
