Beautiful design, question the verse

I bought this stationary because it was beautiful. I did read the verse online and thought it was okay. But the more I think about what I'm going to write on our Christmas letter, the more I question if I can use it this year. We use our letter as a way of updating people we don't get to talk to much, and unfortunately, several of our updates are sad. I also like to include a word of encouragement about our hope in Jesus. There are so many beautiful verses about joy, true joy that comes only from God. I thought it was just me, but then I read the other review and decided to share my thoughts also.

Joy?

The accompanying verse was not what I expected, nor wanted, with this sentiment. Joy. I don't think of GETTING something. I think of pleasure, enjoyment, wonderment, giggles, smiles, the freedom of being with a child together playing in the rain, discovering a new treasure with a dear friend, knowing I'm going to spend eternity with my God, my Lord, my Savior. That's Joy! It entirely depends on how you view the word "Joy" as to whether the accompanying verse is fitting or not. It's up to you. Sometimes I think it's not right at all. Other times I think, yeah, they got it. You judge. I put 3 stars because if I put more stars, it would mean the verse was right most of the time, and that's not so. If I put less than 3 stars, then that would indicate that the verse was off most of the time, and I can't say that's true, either. You tell me, what's YOUR meaning of JOY? Then, if you don't agree with me, write your own review, please.
