God Has My Heart - Antiqued Silver Locket

I received this locket today. While it is a lovely and meaningful design, there are several issues with it. The description says the locket is antiqued silver. I took this to mean sterling silver. The price also made me think it was sterling silver. It is not. It is silver plate, and not particularly good silver plate. The chain actually looks very tarnished, almost cheap costume jewelry tarnished. I was very disappointed with the piece. Again the design itself is beautiful, but $57.00 is a bit steep for something that you cannot use any kind of polish on to make it look better, and will peel over time. Drop the price to $35.00 and maybe it will sell better. Sorry to be so negative, but it was a major disappointment since I was going to buy two more for my sisters. You won't lose me as a customer, but I will look much closer before I buy.
