Fantastic read!

I loved this book! I read it straight through on a long plane flight -- I could not put it down. Jen's writing style is engaging, funny and warm. Her enthusiasm is contagious and I found myself marking so many pages to turn back to later for inspiration and wisdom. I have been recommending this book to all my friends and family. This book rejuvenated my spirit and zest to make a difference in our world and my community!

Love love love this book! Jen is funny, witty, and easy to read. She (and sometimes her family) tackled 7 areas of life for radical change in order to simplify and stop their out-of-control consumerism. They were profoundly affected as self-denial led to greater awareness of the needs of others and a determination to use their resources more wisely. It is a very enjoyable read that does not lay on any guilt trips, but does stir up the desire to live more in tune with God's plan for us -- in relation with others and in our use of what we've been given.
