Christ wants us to live boldly for Him – to act with courage and strength.  He is with us wherever we go - we have the full power of God to call on.  He is not looking for half-hearted followers.  He is looking for bold people, secure and full of faith - to lead families, to reach out to people in need, and to tell other people what a life with Christ is about.  This verse moves us away from a lukewarm, comfortable place and into a call to live as bold believers.

This verse speaks of two qualities - strength and courage - I want my sons to have when they grow up, as well as reminding them that God is with them wherever they go! (The plaque also matches their room colors! :))
