Below are the inspiring thoughts behind the development of this product, shared by one mom who helped in establishing the Show Offs Art company. These inspiring thoughts are also printed on note pinned to canvas.

Seems like we are all on a constant search for less stress and more peace.  The truth is that we can try to muster up all the "inner peace and harmony" we want, but real peace comes only from God.  God's peace is the only one that can replace the deep worries of your heart with true peace.

A little extra: Did you know that the peace sign originates from the military symbol for peace - standing straight with arms angled out and down at both sides of the body.

Also available in larger size approximately 30"L x 36"H for $199.  Large size canvas must be ordered via phone.  Please call 877-751-4347 or email Customer Service

satanists use this symbol...think twice

Listen people, educate yourselves. This sign is NOT Christian. Satanists do something during initiation resulting in this broken cross which symbolizes that Christ did die and NEVER rose from the dead. New comers to their faith are asked to break a cross by pulling down on the horizontal piece of the cross resulting in what you see as a broken cross. Over the years be it the hippies, secular or Christians the signs is used. But, its origins don't represent peace and its not something a Christian should have in their home so seek God's will re this particular piece. Satanists turned Christians have warned to never ever keep this symbol or others in your home or wear them.

Supporter of Peace

I disagree that this symbol is "bad" for Christianity..The meaning according to Merriam-Webster's is: the symbol ? that is used to say that peace is wanted instead of war...My interpretation is to have "Peace with God" instead of "War with God"...plus it is a fun way to get our teenagers into Christian items...I bought the necklace for my neice which is in college...I know she will love it! Thanks Dayspring for supporting "Peace in Christianity"

secular peace symbol

I was horrified to see this secular symbol for the symbol of peace display. It is the cross turned upside down! This is what the secular mainstream says.

Love it

I think it's beautiful. No matter how the peace sign was used in the past, it's being used here to bring recognition to God. Marrying a universal logo with words of faith may help bring awareness to those who may not otherwise have noticed.
