In our world today, so much emphasis is put on looks – having the right clothes, a trendy hairstyle, name brand shoes, being thin and beautiful – and we can constantly feel judged by others. Kids can be mean. Let’s face it – adults can, too! What a wonderful reminder that, while people are looking at the outside, God is looking at our heart. I really want my kids to understand the importance of a pure heart and pure intentions. It’s really God’s opinion that is most important.
