This distinctive shoulder bag, uniquely designed by artisans of Northern India, makes a fashionable statement, while offering generous space for carrying essentials. The creation of each shoulder bag starts with hand-spun, hand-woven and hand printed fabric.  After completing each phase of design, the shoulder bag is then stitched together, using a foot-pedal sewing machine.  This overall process makes each shoulder bag unique. When purchasing, you "JOYN the cycle" by helping to empower men and women of Northern India with the assets, skills, and knowledge to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.

disappointed

I ordered this because it supports a good cause and looks cute. It is very thin fabric, and it would make a better grocery sack than bag really. I do not really even want to use it or gift it!

Great tote

I like it a lot! It's authentic and I like that I can tell the story about the women. It's pretty big and could fit my school books. It also has a pouch on the inside which I was happy about. Makes a great gift idea too!
